Illuminated Mind by nagyizom

We have modders from all over the world this month, and Hungary's nagyizom, who you may know from his Sandcrawler Mod, is back as well. This time, he's transforming a rather hideous beige case into a mod that's certainly more pleasing to the eye.


Work began pretty quickly, and the original case's objectionable looks were banished early on, making way for some elegant lines cut into the side panel and front fascia.


The cooling system looks set to receive an overhaul too, and here we see the beginnings of the most interesting feature of the project - the illuminated mind logo that gives the project its name.


A section from an old case provides a frame for this feature, and nagyizom proceeded to engrave the design into a circular piece of acrylic. The engraved parts also catch the light from behind, and it looks fantastic.


Donning a new eye-catching colour scheme, the project looks a world away from the unattractive beige case we saw earlier. The project isn't quite finished, though, so make sure you head over to nagyizom's project log to see what else is going on.
